Always immediately disconnect from the mains and
inform the technical customer services.
• Please check whether the mains voltage corres-
ponds to the voltage indicated on the mains adap-
ter’s type plate.
• This trimmer is not intended for use by people (in-
cluding children) with limited physical, sensory or
mental capacities and is not intended for use by such
persons who do not possess the required experience
and knowledge – unless they are being accordingly
supervised or instructed in the use of the trimmer by
a person who is responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the trimmer.
• Also keep packaging materials, e.g. films, away
from children.
• Protect the power cable from damage; never pull
on the power cable. Take hold of the mains adapter
when you pull it from the plug socket. Keep the cable
and the trimmer away from hot surfaces. Regularly
check the power cable for damage. The insulation
may not be damaged or crushed. Never wind the
cable around the trimmer.
• Repairs may only be carried out by authorised cus-
tomer services to prevent any risks.
• The trimmer’s power cable must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its customer services or similarly
qualified persons when it has become damaged to
prevent risks.
• Do not expose the trimmer to extreme tempera-
tures for extended periods of time (below 0°C / over
40°C).
• Do not touch the blade when the hair trimmer is
switched on.
• Disconnect the hair trimmer from the mains before
cleaning it.
• Only attach or remove the supplied comb attach-
ments when the trimmer is switched off. The use of
comb attachments other than those supplied may
impair the trimmer’s functioning or even damage it.
• Only use the appropriate EFALOCK charging station
to charge the hair trimmer.
