Disposal
The electrical appliance must be handed
over to the local public disposal facilities
for disposal if it is no longer to be used.
Such disposal facilities usually operate
special acceptance points for electrical ap-
pliances (recycling yards, reusable-materials yards,
etc.).
The electrical appliance must not be disposed of as
residual waste.
This also applies to electrical appliances that at their
end of life were used in non-private environments,
i.e. in commercial or business environments. Waste-
advisory services will provide information about
environmentally-friendly disposal if the local public
disposal facilities do not accept electrical appliances
that were previously used in non-private environ-
ments.
Rechargeable batteries must be completely dischar-
ged before they are disposed of.
Lithium Stage 2 rechargeable batteries
Lithium Stage 2 rechargeable batteries are the latest
generation of lithium batteries. These batteries will
maintain their full performance capacities even
after many charging / discharging cycles (up to
2,000 charges without capacity loss). The use of the
latest technologies makes the rechargeable bat-
tery resistant to the effects of temperature changes
and thus also prevents the development of intrinsic
heat as happens with conventional rechargeable
batteries.
