WARNING: The power supply system
on your unit produces a very low-
intensity electromagnetic field. This field
could interfere with certain pacemakers.
To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury,
persons with pacemakers should consult
their doctor or the manufacturer of the
pacemaker before using this machine.
WARNING: – National regulations could
limit use of the machine.
1 - Do not operate the machine unless you
have received specific instruction on
its use. First time users must familiarise
themselves thoroughly with the operation
of the machine before working in the field.
2 - The electric saw must only be used by
adults, and users must be in good physical
shape and familiar with the operating
instructions.

4 - Never start the electric saw without the
chain-guard on.
5 - Check that tension and frequency shown
on the plate correspond to the ones of the
network.
6 - Never use cables, plugs or extensions
which are defective or fail to comply with
relative standards.
7 - Immediately disconnect the plug if the
cable is damaged or cut. The electric
connection must be positioned so as
to prevent persons or vehicles from
damaging it, thus jeopardizing both
themselves and you.
8 - Check the cable location during work: it
must always be kept away from the chain
work area or/and never be stretched.
Never cut in the vicinity of other electrical
cables.
9 - Always cut from a firm-footed and safe
position. Only start cutting when the chain
is moving. During work use the teeth as a
support point.
10 - Ensure that trees fall in a safe direction.
11 - It is prohibited to fit any device other than
that supplied by the manufacturer.
12 - All labels with health hazards must be kept
in good conditions. In case of damage or
deterioration, immediately substitute
them (see Fig. 1).
13 - Never carry out operations or repairs on
your own that are other than routine
maintenance. Call specialised and
authorised workshops only.

15 - Check the saw daily to ensure that all
safety and other devices are working
properly.
16 - Never work with a saw that is damaged,
poorly repaired, or randomly modified. Do
not remove, damage, or make ineffective
any of the safety devices. Only use bars of
the length indicated in the table (Pag. 33).
17 - Only loan your saw to expert users who
are completely familiar with saw operation
and correct use. Give other users the
manual with operating instructions, which
they should read before using the saw.
18 - All electric saw service, other than the
operations shown in the present manual,
should be performed by competent
personnel.
19 - Keep this manual on hand and consult it
before each use of the tool.
20 - Please note that the owner or the user is
responsible for any accidents or damage
to third parties or their property.
