Installation manual Outdoor Lightbox 80
Determine the correct place for the LED frame and take into account the space needed for tightening
the adjusting screws at the sides. Check where the power supply is located and where it exits the LED
frame. Take the length of the cord into account when connecting the LED power supply.
1. Drilling holes in the profile
Determine the locations of the mounting holes. Drill the holes
through the white back panel and rear sleeve. For larger LED frames,
these are an important part of the support structure of the LED
frame. Small formats do not have a rear sleeve. If possible, also
determine and drill the hole for the grommet. Then drill the holes in
the drilling groove of the profile; see drawing.
2. Mounting the profile on the wall
Choose suitable mounting materials according to the surface
against which the LED frame will be mounted (stone, wood, sheet
piling, etc.). Check whether this surface can bear the weight of the
lightbox.
Once the lightbox has been mounted, the cable can be connected
to the 12-volt LED power supply.
3. Attaching the PVC fabric
Slide the silicone strip into the profile, starting at the top left-hand corner.
Then slide the silicone strip into the entire upper profile, after which you
half-tighten the Allen screws of the upper profile. The silicone strip can
then be slide into the left and right sides of the frame and, lastly, into the
bottom.
Please note:
the silicone strip should be as close to the edge of the fabric
as possible.
4. Tensioning the PVC fabric
Fully tighten the bottom Allen screws, then the sides and lastly the
upper side.
Please note:
it is not advisable to attach the fabric into the frame
when there is too much wind. Depending on the weight, the lightbox
should be mounted by at least two people.
