conditions provided in table 4-7.
2). Cut off the power supply.
3). Remove the M10 hexagon socket cap plug screw of lubricant intake or outlet,
according to figure 4-1.
4). Inject the new lubricant until it overflow from the outlet port.
5). install the hexagon socket cap plug screw back on the lubricant intake or outlet.
6). Release the residual pressure of lubricant cavity after injection according to the
process in 4.3.4.
Incorrect operation may rapidly increase internal pressure in the cavity and damage the
sealing part, which lead to lubricant leak and malfunction. Therefore, please comply with the
tips as follows when lubricating.
1). Open the outlet (remove the plug or screw) before lubrication.
2). Use an injector which can quantify the capacity of lubricant filling up to inject
lubricant slowly and gently, with the injecting speed lower than 40cc/10 seconds. Otherwise,
the weight of lubricant before and after the injection should be measured to confirm the
injected capacity.
3). Hoses on the injection side are first filled with grease. Be attention that not to mix air
in grease.
4). If the required capacity is not reached, a precision regulator for air supply can be used
to squeeze the air in the cavity before injection. The air pressure should be controlled lower
than 0.025MPa.
5). Only use specified lubricant. Otherwise, damage of the reducer or other problems
may occur.
6). When installing hexagon socket cap plug screw after the injection, seal the intake and
outlet with sealing tape to avoid the leak of lubricant.
7). To avoid accidental slip and fall, excess lubricant on the ground and the robot should
be completely removed.
8). After injection, release the residual pressure in the lubricant cavity according to the
process in 4.34, and then install the hexagon socket cap plug screw. Be attention that the
sealing tape should be used to seal the intake and outlet, to avoid the leak.
