7 Maintenance
NOTICE
It is assumed that you have read and understood the chapters ”First things first” and ”Safe
operation”.
•
After cleaning, all parts must be lubricated according to the maintenance schedule.
•
Check nuts and screws according to the maintenance schedule for tight fit.
•
If the machine is not to be used for more than 2 months it is recommended to protect it
against corrosion.

The machine can suddenly trap the user or third persons, cause them to fall over, run them
over, crush or lacerate them
•
Cleaning and maintenance work and the removal of safety equipment must only be
carried out when the engine is turned off and the parking brake is applied.
•
Maintenance work must only be carried out when the snow blower is detached from
the basic machine.
•
Replace defective parts.
7.1 Malfunctions
Engine running, but snow blower is not being powered!
•
Blower drive switched off.
•
Snow blower connection is not engaged.
Engine running, but snow is not ejected!
•
Discharge chute clogged.
NOTICE
If you are unable to remedy the malfunction yourself, consult an authorized Egholm
dealer.
7.2 Eliminating the plugging inside the discharge chute
Remove the plugged snow by using the rod fastened on the blower housing. Do not use
metal objects.
WARNING
The machine can suddenly trap the user or third persons, cause them to fall over, run them
over, crush or lacerate them.
•
Switch off the blower drive and wait until the cutter stands completely still.
•
Foreign objects may only be removed when the engine is turned off, the parking brake-
applied and the hydraulic hoses ”Blower drive” removed.
•
Operate the blower drive with fitted protection fence only.
•
Do not reach into the discharge chute.
