Daily operation

2.4 Daily checks before start-up

Walk around the vehicle and check:

• The state of the tyres and rims as the wheels are 

very exposed to jolts (pavements, edges, …).

• The tyre pressure. (see Section 1.4)

• The state of your attachments.

• The ground under the vehicle in order to detect

potential leakages, (diesel, oil, water..).

• The brake efficiency. Conduct one sequence 

of five abrupt brakings every day for brake 

maintenance.

• Check the engine oil level. (see Section 3.2)

• Check the coolant level. (see section 3.4)

• Check the hydraulic oil level. (see Section 3.3)

• Check lights.

• Check if anything is out of the ordinary.

• Greasing points: see 3.7 Lubrication, page 56, 

greasing recommended at least every 50 hour.

Attention

Do not start up if the machine fails any

of the above checks. Consult 

authorized service technician.
