Once the zones have been selected, to broadcast a message via the microphone,
press and hold
down the bottom oval key
to make a short
PTT
call.
The console will play a DIN-DON to alert listeners that a message is going to be broadcast, and
it will indicate on the screen the end of it, to start talking.
SELECTING MESSAGE VOLUME
There are two ways of changing the volume of messages for
each zone:
1.
While broadcasting a message, the system allows you to
modify the volume in real time using the top right
+
/
keys.
2.
Enter MENU and select
SETTINGS
.
In
SETTINGS
, press the

After the DIN-DON has been played, hold the oval key
down and the screen will indicate
that you can now speak. The LED remains steady, and you can broadcast the message via the
microphone.
If, you need maintain the message with the microphone open to remain on for a long time, press
the oval key
and the key at the same time.
The
symbol will begin to blink and you can stop pressing both keys and speak for however
long you wish, Long press
PTL
.
To end the message press the key again.
The system will deactivate message mode and return to the previous music mode.

General functions
ACTIVATING MESSAGES
With the console now ON, messages can be broadcast to all of the zones (general message) or
to specific zones. To do this, select or unselect the zones that are going to receive the messages
by pressing any of the 3 keys on the right.
All the zones can be selected and this selection can be left as the default setting or you can select
only those that you need to activate, depending on the zone the message is intended for.
If the zone has been selected to broadcast a message, the symbol is displayed in the box
corresponding to each zone.
In the example shown below,
ZONE 3
has been deselected so that the message is only broadcast
to
ZONE 1
and
ZONE 2
