5 Configuring Alerts
Querx can notify you of alerts via email, SNMP-trap and
Syslog whenever defined value limits are exceeded.
5.1 Basic Alert Configuration
Querx can notify you of the following critical ambient
conditions:
Temperature above upper limit value
Temperature below lower limit value
Temperature rising too quickly
Temperature falling too quickly
The
TH models
additionally support the following alerts:
Humidity above upper limit value
Humidity below lower limit value
Humidity rising too quickly
Humidity falling too quickly
Dew point above upper limit value
Dew point below lower limit value

Information
Alerts are only triggered when values rise above or fall
below the limit values. They are not triggered if the limit
values are merely reached.
5.1.1 Alerts and Dead-band
A dead-band value can be defined, in order to avoid the
repetition of alerts that are based on limit transgressions.
If the dead-band feature is activated, a value that has
triggered an alert will have to return towards its normal state
