To Start
1. Push the lock-off switch to the "ON"
position (Fig. 9).
2. Press and hold the switch lever
in the front handle with one hand
and squeeze the rear switch lever
with your other hand to start the hedge
trimmer. Continue to squeeze the
two switch levers simultaneously for
continued operation.
To Stop
1. Move the hedge trimmer away from the cutting area and release either the rear
switch lever or the front switch lever to switch off the hedge trimmer.
2. Push the lock-off switch to the "OFF" position to help to avoid accidental starting.
WARNING:
Always remove the power plug from the hedge trimmer during
work breaks or after finishing work.
WARNING:
Make sure that the lock-off switch is placed exactly in the
"OFF" position before restarting. Otherwise, accidental starting will cause serious
personal injury.
