polishing surface before being switched on or off.

6. Starting up
6.1 Recharging the rechargeable battery
1. Switch off the machine. Pull out the battery pack
(Figure 1). Simultaneously press the pushlock
button.
2. Check that your mains voltage is the same as that
marked on the data plate of the battery charger.
Plug the battery charger in the plug socket and
connect the charging cable to the charging
adapter. The green LED displayed on the
charging adapter shows that the adapter is ready
to charge.
3. Plug the battery pack into the charging adapter.
The red LED will come on to indicate that the
battery pack is being charged. An empty battery
pack requires a maximum charging period of 7
hours. The charging time for a partially charged
battery is comparatively less. The temperature of
the battery pack may rise slightly during the
charging operation. This is normal.
Important!
The battery charger does not switch off
automatically when the battery is fully
charged.
The red LED extinguishes as soon as
the battery pack is removed from the charging
adapter.
If the battery pack fails to charge, please check
whether there is voltage at the socket-outlet
whether there is good contact at the charging
