7.10. Verification of tightness of joints and check inspection of appliance
Test of leakage:
•
By disconnecting output hose from fast-on coupling marked OUT (10) the consumption of
compressed air is stopped.
•
Pressurize pressure tank (forced startup of compressor can be done for example by releasing
of part of air via supplied device).
•
Compressor must not be put into operation automatically for at least 10 min.
•
If it comes to the drop out of pressure, using soap water find the leakage at joint - firstly outside
the case, then inside the case after its dismounting.
•
Remove found leakage by tightening or re-sealing the joint.
Inspection of appliance:
•
Check the condition of hangers of pump.
•
Check the condition of filter. At regular operation condensate from filter (14) is exuded
automatically. Verify the function of automatic sludging by comparing the level of condensate
in a vessel with scale line indicating maximal level. The level of condensate must not be over
the scale line. In the case of incorrect function it is necessary to replace faulty parts.
•
Release the condensed liquid from the water trap of the pressure regulator.
•
Check the condition of pump itself:
- impurities in crank box
- freedom at crank shaft
•
In the case of need, replace faulty parts.
7.11. Checking of capacity
Before checking of capacity it is necessary to switch off compressor
by power switch, let pressure air out of air tank and unlink output
hose from fitting OUT (10). Next (Than) to switch compressor by
power switch and measure (record) the time before points start -
stop. The capacity of compressor is satisfied when the recorded time
is not higher than 45 s for type DK50 D, and 30 s for type DK50 DM.
On gauging of capacicy it is possible Flow meter set (tool Part No.
191000009). Set the output pressure air flow until the humidity
indicator (2) remain in the position "stop".
7.12. Fixing of compressor before transportation
Before transportation it is required to fix the compressor to prevent movement (see annex).
•
Remove the front and back covers unscrewing screws on the side of the cabinet, disconnect
the ground connector on the covers.
•
Disassembly the internal back cover (18) unscrewing four screws.
•
Remove the evaporative tray (20) under the air pump.
•
Insert the fixative elements (21) under and up the air pump.
•
Assembly the internal back cover (18), connect the ground connector on the covers, insert the
covers and filter (12).
