To set a static IP address for a VIA!dj Digital Music Server:
Press

Set ViaDj Address.
A window as shown in
Figure 4-30
will appear.
The Virtual Key

board will appear. Type the static IP address of the VIA!dj (available
from the VIA!dj’s display), then press
OK
.

Note: If the VIA!dj IP address has not been set to static, please do so
now. If the VIA!dj IP address should change, the programming on the
XP8.4 must be reset to reflect this change.
TGM-100
To set a static IP address for a TGM-100 Digital Music Server:
Press

Set TGM-100 Address.
A window labeled TGM-100
will appear.
The Virtual Key

board will appear. Type the static IP address of the TGM-100 (avail-
able from the TGM-100’s display), then press
OK
.
Update
To Update the XP8.4’s software :
Press

Update
.
The unit will automatically connect to the Internet and

download any available
updates.
Press the

Download
button to initiate the download of the available update.
A verification screen will be displayed once the update is
•
complete that will indi-
cate various information including software version, bug fixes and other useful infor-
mation.
