7.1 RECOMENDATIONS
The instructions laid out here must be effected by qualified personnel and strictly during maintenance and for
the replacement of existing faulty transmitter, with the machine in a stand still safe condition.
This procedure allows you to couple a new transmitter to an existing receiver in a univocal manner with reference to the
norms IEC 60204-1 and IEC60204-32 which states that only
one
transmitter at a time can control a machine. At the end
of this procedure the original transmitter connected to the receiver will no longer be valid and only the new transmitter will
be able to control the machine, substituting the previous transmitter.
Upon completion of the coupling procedure
always
verify that the new transmitter is working correctly, that all the
commands are working, in particular the STOP command
IMPORTANT : the data label on the original transmitter should be removed and applied to the new transmitter. If this is not
possible because it has been lost, destroyed, or illegible, please contact an ELCA Service Center to request a duplicate.
7. TRANSMITTING UNIT REPLACEMENT
To access the card with the unique matching code, you must open the door under the battery compartment.
After rotating the door counterclockwise for about 1/8 turn, lift the door, making sure not to lose the gasket. Below the
door is the card with the matching code. Raise it gently until it is completely removed.
7.2 CHANGE IDENTIFICATION CODE CARD.
Insert the card into the replacement transmitter, making sure that the connector is aligned properly and do not force too
much.
Place the rubber seal on the door and attach it to the hole so that it gently presses it so that it is flat over the entire surface
of the battery compartment.
Rotate the stopper clockwise to 1/8 turn without straining.
At the end of this operation, the cap must be level with the support surface of the battery compartment.
Verify the proper operation of all the commands, in particular the STOP command.
IMPORTANT: Upon confirming that all is working properly,
remove the data label from the old transmitter no longer in
use and apply it to the new transmitter
. If this is not possible as it has been lost, destroyed or illegible, please contact
ELCA Service center for a replacement.
