3.1 Initialization
Before placing the cash register into operation, it must be initialized.
Cash register initialization clears all
programmed data.
Initialize the non-fiscal cash register by the following procedure. Turn the cash register
to
P
mode by pressing the buttons

and
J
. Press the
V
(CREDIT)
button. The notification of
CLEA
R
I
N
G
appears in the display. To confirm the initialization, press the
Y
(SUBTOTAL)
button. The
cash register printer prints Memory clearing... and after a short time the successful Initialization, printer
prints Clearing finished.
WARNING:
Cash register initialization clears all programmed data and sets the default values. Grand Totals and flag
number 1 value remain unaffected. Initialization can be executed only if Z daily and Z periodical report
were executed.
WARNING: THE FISCAL CASH REGISTER CAN BE INITIALIZED ONLY BY SERVICE TECHNICIAN.
