2.5.3 Switching the display backlight on and off
The back light increases the contrast of the display, protects your sight and enables you to use the cash
register under conditions of insufficient light.
The Euro-2000TE ALPHA cashier display is standardly equipped with LED backlighting. The backlight for the
customer display is optional. You can ask for installation of a customer display backlight from your
authorized dealer.
The display back light increases power consumption and shortens the operational time of the cash register
powered by the accumulator. Euro-2000TE ALPHA provides the option of easy activation of the backlight
whenever needed. If the backlight is activated and no key is pressed within 15 seconds then the backlight
will switch off automatically. After pressing the key the backlight is turned on automatically.
