2.6 Mode switch and mode keys
The mode switch enables you to set the mode of the cash register. The different mode
keys enable the operator to work in different cash register modes (registration,
programming, reports, etc.). Furthermore, the mode switch prevents illegal use of the
cash register.
The following keys are used:

The training mode is used when the operator or the manager practises register operations. The
training mode provides all functions of the R mode. In this mode transactions are not included
in the daily or periodical reports. The receipts printed in this mode are marked by the text Invalid
document. When switching the register into this mode, the current time in the first line and

in the second line appears on the display.
L
The cash register is locked. By switching the register to this mode, the current time in the first
line and
LOCK MODE
in the second line appear on the display. The keyboard functions are
inactive. If the register is connected to the main source of electricity, circuits containing the data
concerning the sale, time and date are supplied. This mode is designed for charging the internal
accumulator, which backs up the data.
R
Position - registrations. This position is used for all registrations and transactions. By switching
into this mode, the current time in the first line and current date and day in the second line appear
on the display until you begin the registration.
