4.5.4 Suppressing of preprogrammed PLU price
Either the programmed price or the price entered from the keyboard may be used for PLU entries. If a price
is entered from the keyboard, it supersedes the programmed price.
Example: The customer has been given a special price different from the preprogrammed one. In the
following example, the PLU 3 has the preprogrammed price of 17,90. The special price is 16,20.
4.5.5 Split-pricing PLU entry
The cash register can be preprogrammed for registration of a split price. Use this
function when a customer wants to purchase more or less than the base quantity of
a loose item.
Example: The price is determined for a whole packet which includes 5 pieces of the goods (e.g. a box of
cheese) at the price of 15,60Sk. The customer buys only 3 pieces. Thus, he is to pay three fifths
of the unit price of the whole box (5 pieces).
Warning:
The function must be preprogrammed (The system flag No.2, digit No.6=0).

4.5.3 Individual PLU entries
Example: In some services just a single item is often sold, e.g. cigarettes. With the aim of simplifying the
sale of such items it is possible to program a single item PLU flag (see PLU programming). By
entering the PLU number and the
U
button the item is registered, the sale is automatically
finished and the drawer opened. This PLU is called a single item PLU. In the example the price
30,80 in PLU 4 is preprogrammed.

Note:
If other transactions have already been per-
formed before the single item sale, and that sale
does not complete the transaction, it is pos-
sible to continue in registration of other items.
