4.7.2 Stock out with obligatory customer number entry
The stock release of the goods for particular customer is important mainly for further processing of the
electronic data in a PC. The data transmitted to the PC help to identify the customer and make necessary
calculations or documents (e.g. to issue an invoice, calculate stock quantities, etc.). Obligatory entry of the
customer number option is set by the second digit of the second electronic journal flag (chapter 3.4.3).
If the above mentioned flag is set to 1, the stock out can begin after setting the cash register to stock out
mode and entering the customer number. The customer number entry means typing 8 digits (max.) in and
pressing the
N
($/DRAWER)
key (similarly as in chapter 4.11.). The stock out itself can be done after
correct customer number entry.
Caution 1: Stock out mode allows releasing the goods from stock only through PLU items. DPT sale is
disabled.
Caution 2: The # character in upper left corner of the display indicates that the cash register is ready for
stock out or the stock out is being carried out.
Caution 3: Completion of one stock out cycle causes the cash register automatically returns to normal sale
mode. It means that another stock out has to be set by pressing
I
and
V
keys.
