5 REPORTS
5.3 The report contents
5.3.1 Reports of departments
When printing a full department report, only non-zero value departments are printed.
Report contains:
1. Name of the department
2. Number of items sold in the department
3. Total value of the items sold in departments
4. Total value of sale including all departments
5.1 How to print out reports
Two modes for printing reports are:
X
mode and
Z
mode.
Use the reading mode X when it is necessary to obtain sales information since the last resetting.
It is used to generate reports during the day, between two shifts, etc. The reading may be made any
number of times and does not affect the register memory. The only difference is with electronic
journal printing, when printed data in X mode is always reset. Also you can turn off time printing on
the receipt pressing 803
K
in the X mode. You can turn the time printing on by the same process
as used for turning off.
Use the resetting function of the Z mode when you need to print reports and to clear the registers
memory. Resetting prints all sales information and clears the entire memory except for the GT1
through GT3, reset count and consecutive number. A Z report is usually carried out once a day after
finalizing the daily report.
Note:
In the Z mode the department report, the cashiers report and the financial report are carried out
by means of the total Z report.
Note:
In the Z mode it is possible to print the department report only by means of the total Z report.
See chapter The total Z report.
