With USB communication, a USB driver has to be installed on the PC from the support CD; it is also available at www.
elcom.eu.
Two and more devices can´t be assigned in figure 5a) and figure 5b) to the same serial port. Port no. 5 (USB) and 6 (RS-
485) shares pins with COM2 port. Only one device can be connected to the same port.
At using JODO (external journal reader), PC communication port has to be set to COM port 1.
