2.  Pull out the middle cover and separate the front cover from the bottom one (chapter 4.1)

3.  Unplug all the connectors from the main PCB.

4.  Release the main PCB from the front cover.

5.  Solder out the main NiCd accumulator and replace it for a new one. Watch the polarity – accumu-

lator connector marked ‘+’ shall be soldered onto BT1 position marked as ‘+’.

6.  Screw the main PCB back onto the front cover.

7.  Plug all the connectors into the main PCB.

8.  Perform all the ECR tests.

9.  Assemble all the covers back (chapter 4.1).

4.9 Reinstallation of the keyboard or individual keys

Note: Keyboard reinstallation shall be performed only when ECR is turned off and external power supply

is disconnected.

1.  Pull out the middle cover and separate the front cover from the bottom one (chapter 4.1)

2.  Unplug all the connectors from the main PCB.

3.  Separate the main PCB from the keyboard module.

4.  Unscrew the keyboard PCB and the keyboard rubber from the front cover.

5.  Replace new keyboard rubber, keyboard PCB, or 16-pin FFC cable as needed.

6.  Screw the keyboard PCB to the front cover.
