ECR description
These two keys are used to apply constant value surcharge or discount to actual reg-
istration operation or to the entire transaction.
The
PLU Price
key allows entering the article price that will override programmed PLU
price for one record only and also allows paying in foreign currency.
The
PLU
key is used to recall programmed article values from the PLU identifier:
price, name, article group (department), tax level etc. Mainly used in sale registra-
tion for PLUs.
The
ST
key displays actual subtotal value. There is system flag that determines if
the ST key has to be pressed prior finishing sale.
The
PLU List
key is used to show and search for PLU items stored in the ECR mem-
ory.
The
Help
key is used to open short helpful instructions concerning the actual function.
It is active only during registration.
The
Add-on discount list
displays the list of predefined surcharges and discounts. It
is active only during registration.
The
Customer
key is used to enter the customer’s reference number.
The
Credit
key is used to mark the finished sale as finished by the credit card pay-
ment.
The
Check
key is used to mark the finished sale as finished by the cheque payment.
The key marked with Internet Explorer logo opens the window of the Internet
browser.
The
Total
key is used to finish the sale and also to mark the finished sale as finished by cash
payment.
PC keyboard
Also the PC keyboard can be connected externally to the POS-3000. Sale and registration is
analogous to the POS keyboard. The keys that cannot be re-programmed are the same as in
the EK-3000: Esc, Enter, Tab, Space, Shift+Tab and arrow keys. All other keys are program-
mable.
It is recommended to programme the direct PLU and predefined surcharge/discount keys as
Shift+character key combination.
Following convenient keyboard shortcuts are provided by the PC keyboard:
Ctrl+F2
– Toggling of the graphic modes (LCD, monitor, LCD+monitor). Chosen mode
will initialise after the ECR is turned on.
Ctrl+Alt+’ – Touch sensitive display calibration
Shift+key – Character placed on top right part of a key
