Cable resistance compensation ( zero)
To measure low resistance values, measure the cable resistance first.
-Short-circuit the cables.
-
Press and hold the HOLD key
until zero appears on the display.The cable resistance value will then be
memorised and subtracted from the value of the resistance measured later.
Note
: If the value measured is higher than 2

, this correction is stopped and the memorised correction value is reset to
zero.

Connect the measurement leads to the instruments terminals, complying with the polarities indicated: red lead
on the + terminal and black lead on the COM terminal.

Connect the unit to the semi-conductor (junction) to be tested.
The measurement current moves from the + terminals to the COM terminal. It corresponds to the direct
testing of the semi-conductor junction.
