USING THE IRON
Before first use remove protectives attached to the soleplate

and unfold the cord

completely. During initial exploitation there may appear a harmless odour which has no
influence upon the usage of the iron and quickly disappears.
Before connecting to the mains put the iron on the heel rest

, turn the temperature dial
to MIN setting and dry/steam power selector
(1)
to setting
“0”
(no steam).
The temperature
dial setting is marked by the control lamp (8).
After plugging in and temperature setting the light of the control lamp
(8)
comes on. It goes
out when the chosen temperature is reached.
The ironing temperature should be adjusted to the fabric. If the type of fabric is unknown
set for minimal temperature and gradually increase the temperature until a satisfying effect
is reached.
DRY IRONING
Put the iron on the heel rest

, turn dry/steam power selector
(1)
to setting
“0”
. Before
plugging in or operating turn the temperature dial to “MIN” setting.
STEAM IRONING
Steam ironing with additional steam function is only possible with high temperature. The
highest temperature is marked on the temperature dial as
“MAX”
. The steam power is
regulated by dry/steam power selector
(1)
.
Additional steam power (80g/min) is obtained by pressing steam button
(2)
and it facilitates
ironing of exceptionally tough wrinkles.
NOTICE. Steam is hot and there is a danger of burning. The soleplate heats very quickly but
it needs more time to cool down. It should not be touched.
