CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
TIPS
It is recommended to clean the cooker after each use to prevent accumulation of fat, scorched
food and unpleasant odour.
Before cleaning, unplug the device from the mains and let it cool down.
• do not use corrosive cleaning agents, detergents, solvents etc.
• do not put the body (3) or the pot (4) in water or other liquids,
do not clean them in dishwashers
• clean the body (3), external walls of the pot (4) and the power cord with a damp cloth
• you can use hot water, dishwashing liquid and sponge to clean the internal walls of the pot
(4) other parts and accessories can be washed in hot water using dishwashing
liquid and sponge
Wait until all the parts are dry before assembling or using the cooker again.
• do not put too much food in the pot (4), basket (6) or on the grate (8)
• do not mix various types of fat
• the food used should be as dry as possible, defrost it if necessary
•do not lean over the cover when the cooker is operating, especially over an open cooker
during deep frying
• take special care while handling a hot grate or basket
• the basket handle can be folded for easy storage
• use the handles in the body (fig. 4) to carry the cooker
• use only plastic or wooden, temperature-resistant kitchen utensils
• cool oil can be stored in a separate container in a fridge
• a large amount of very hot steam is released while opening the cover, keep a safe distance
• from the cooker (risk of scalding)
• do not pour water in the oil
• do not mix used and fresh oil
• replace fat regularly to ensure best taste and quality of the food. The quality of fried food
depends on the quality of fat used
• do not pour used oil in the sink. It is better to cool it down and throw it away
• the rubber sealing on the glass cover (5) can be removed for cleaning
