3.1 Usage
Only use MINIguard within the specified pressure and temperature ranges to monitor a filter
system that is used for the deionization of untreated water using ion-exchange mixed bed resins.
MINIguard is permanently in operation. The LEDs flash constantly.
The different colored LEDs flash depending on the electrical conductivity of the water that is in
contact with the sensors.
If MINIguard is not immersed in water and the conductivity cell is in contact with air, the green
LED should flash. If this is not the case, there is an electrically conductive contact between the
measuring electrodes or there is a fault.
3.2 Maintenance
MINIguard requires little maintenance. To ensure proper functioning, the rubber gaskets and the
plastic threads should be checked regularly.
Depending on the intensity of use, the electronics housing should be removed from the flow cell
and the stainless steel electrodes should be cleaned.
To clean the electrodes, use a suitable cleaning agent, e.g. acetone, and a soft, lint-free cloth.
