Playback controls
When browsing/navigating the movie library, the
“OK“ button on the remote has two functions depend
-
ing on if the button is pressed briefly or if you press
and hold the button for at about 1 second:
Pressing the “OK“ button briefly:
•
If a movie is the selected item on the screen and playback of the selected movie has previously been started
but was disrupted before the end of the file, you will be given the choice to resume from where the playback
was previously disrupted or to start playback from the beginning of the movie.
Otherwise playback will start
from the beginning of the movie.
• If an actor is the selected item on the screen, a list of all the movies featuring that actor will be shown.
• If a genre is the selected item on the screen, a list of all the movies within this genre will be shown.
Context menu
If a movie is the selected item on the screen, long pressing the “OK“ button (press and hold for at about
2 second) will bring up a context menu on the screen with the following choices:
• Resume from…
Resume playback from where it was last interrupted.
This option is only available if the selected video was previously started but stopped before
video was finished.
• Watch: Play video from the beginning.
• Show trailer
Watch trailer for the selected video. (An active internet connection is required for
this option as the trailer will be streamed from the internet)
• Mark as watched/unwatched.
Select this option if you want to toggle the watched status for the selected video
A brief press on the
“NEXT TRACK“ button on the remote will skip to next chapter (if any) in the currently
playing video.
Pressing and holding the “NEXT TRACK“ button (for at least 3 seconds) will fast forward in the video file
playing. Keep the button depressed (or long press again) until the desired forward speed is achieved
(indicated on the screen). Press the “PLAY/PAUSE“ button to resume normal playback speed.
A brief press on the “PREVIOUS TRACK“ button on the remote will skip to the previous chapter (if any) in
the currently playing video.
Pressing and holding the “PREVIOUS TRACK“ button (for at least 3 seconds) will rewind in the video file
playing. Keep the button depressed (or long press again) until the desired rewind speed is achieved (indi

cated on the screen). Press the “PLAY/PAUSE“ button to resume normal playback speed.
Pressing “REPEAT“ when a video is playing will activate “repeat all” for the current playing movie.
Pressing the button a second time will activate “repeat one” for the current playing movie. As only the
current playing movie is in the queue, the “repeat all” and the “repeat one” will both repeat only the cur
-
rently playing movie. Pressing the button a third time will turn off the repeat function.
