GETTING STARTED
CHARGING THE BATTERY
1.
Open the battery cover and insert two 1.5V AAA batteries.
2.
Make sure that the positive and negative posts of the battery are in the correct polarity (+ or -)
Position.
3.
Insert an SD memory card into the memory card spring load slot. The SportCam has no built-in
memory so it is essential that a memory card is inserted before using the SportCam.
4.
Now careful when closing the battery door. Pay close attention to the sliding clips on the battery
door. Slowly close press evenly with your thumb, and then slide into position to lock the battery
door. If done incorrectly one can break the sliding clips (the locking mechanism).
TURNING ON THE SPORTCAM
1.
Press and hold the POWER/REC button for 5 seconds to turn on the SportCam.
2.
A SportCam logo will be displayed on the LCD screen and the laser light will be blinking indicating
that the camera is now powered up and in standby mode.
TURNING OFF THE SPORTCAM
The SportCam would turn off in these three scenarios:
1.
Camera will automatically power down after one minute of inactivity. To preserve battery power.
2.
Removal of the battery from the camera. (If done in the middle of a recording it can corrupt the
memory card)
3.
Press and hold the POWER/REC button for 5 second.
RECORDING A VIDEO
1.
Press and hold the POWER/REC button for 5 seconds to turn on the SportCam.
2.
A SportCam logo will be displayed on the LCD screen and the laser light will be blinking indicating
that the camera is now working and on standby mode. (laser is for positioning while on a helmet)
3.
Press the POWER/REC button again for 1 second, the laser light will stop blinking and the
SportCam logo will start to blink which will indicate that the camera is now recording.
