5.1 

Ignition of oven gas burner

Oven safety device:

The gas oven has a

thermocouple. It stops the

gas flow if the flame goes

out.

1.

Press the knob for the gas control
and turn it to  .

2.

Keep the knob for the gas control

pushed for 15 seconds or less to let

the thermocouple warm up. Do not

release the knob until the flame

ignites, otherwise the gas flow is

interrupted.

Do not keep the knob for the gas control

pushed for more than 15 seconds. If the

oven burner does not ignite after 15

seconds, release the knob for the gas

control, turn it into off position, open the

oven door. Wait minimum 1 minute,

close the oven door and try to ignite the

oven burner again.

After igniting the oven gas

burner

1.

Release the knob for the gas control.

2.

Turn the knob for the gas control to

set the temperature.

Control the flame through the holes in

the cavity bottom plate.
