The automatic heat up function

The automatic heat up function starts when
you set a heat setting starting from 

 . A

cooking zone operates with the maximum
power for some time and than automatically
switches back to the heat setting you set.
If you set a higher heat setting during the au-
tomatic heat up (for example from 

 to 

 ),

the automatic heat up is adjusted.
If there is still residual heat on the cooking
zone (display 

 ), the automatic warm up

does not start.
The time of the automatic warm up changes
for different heat settings:

Using the Timer

Use the timer to set how long the cooking
zone operates for one cooking session.

Set the timer after the selection of the
cooking zone.

You can set the heat setting before or after
you set the timer.

Selection of the cooking zone:

 touch

 again and again until the indicator of a

necessary cooking zone comes on.

Starting and changing the timer:

 touch

 or   of the cooking zone to set the time

Stopping the timer:

Locking / unlocking the control panel

tion. The heat setting that you set before
comes on.
When you switch off the appliance, you also
switch off this function.

The child safety device

This function prevents an accidental opera-
