C-1 denotes that for each 29 second
segment, 440 watt of microwave power
is applied for 16 seconds and the grill is
switched on at full power for the remain-
ing 13 seconds. This cycle is applied
throughout the entire cooking time se-
lected.
C-2 denotes that for each 29 second
segment, 288 watt of microwave power
is applied for 10 seconds and the grill is
switched on at full power for the remain-
ing 19 seconds. This cycle is applied
throughout the entire cooking time se-
lected.
The ‘plus 60 seconds’ function
1. Pressing the
when the oven is in
‘stand by’ mode i.e. when not is use and
‘time of day’ is displayed, will automati-
cally start microwave cooking / reheating
at 100% full power of 800 watts (P100)
for 60 seconds. The symbol will flash
in the display.
Auto defrosting by weight
1. Press once and ‘dEF 1’ will appear in
the display and the
symbols will illu-
minate.
2. Rotate to select the frozen weight in
grams of the food you are defrosting. (be-
tween 100g and 2000g)
3. Press
to begin the automatic defrost-
ing function. The oven will calculate the
defrosting time and power level required
to defrost the food perfectly. The defrost-
ing time left will be shown in the display
and the
symbols will flash.
Defrosting by time.
1. Press
and ‘dEF 2’ will appear in the
display and the
symbols will illumi-
nate.
2. Rotate to select the defrosting time –
max 95 minutes.
3. Press
to begin the manual defrosting
function. The defrosting time left will be
shown in the display and the
sym-
bols will flash.
Multi- stage cooking
The oven can be set to defrost / cook in three
stages.
If using a defrost function this should always
be the first stage.
A ‘beep’ will sound after the first stage is
complete and the second stage will begin
automatically.
Auto menus cannot be used as either
stage. For example: To defrost food
manually for 5 minutes and then cook for
7 minutes at 640 watts (P80),

and ‘dEF 2’ will appear in the
display and
symbols will illuminate.
2. Rotate to select the defrosting time of
5 minutes.
3. Press
push button once and
‘P100’ will appear in the display and the
symbols will illuminate. 100 indicates
800 watt (100%) i.e. max. power setting.
4. Rotate to select 640 watts (P80).
5. Press
to confirm your power se-
lection.
6. Rotate to select the cook time of 7 mi-
nutes.
7. Press
to start the two stage pro-
gramme. The and symbols for stage
1 will flash and then after a ‘beep’, the
and symbols will flash to indicate
stage 2 has begun.
Delayed Start.
The oven can be set to start cooking at a pre-
determined time and up to three stages of
cooking can be used. Do not use defrosting
as either stage.
