Replacing the Internal Light
The inside of the dishwasher is lit by a high quality,
low-voltage lamp.

A defective lamp may be replaced only by a
trained technician.

Before beginning to work, pull the dish-
washer power plug out of the socket.
For safety reasons, the lamp is not accessible from
the inside.
A defective lamp is to be replaced as follows:
1.
Pull the chassis unit from its recess.
2.
Remove the side walls.
3.
Pinch the lamp holder and pull it from the mount-
ing.
4.
Remove the defective lamp.

Do not allow the new lamp to touch your
hands when inserting it.
5.
Hold the new lamp by the sleeve and cut off the
lower end.
6.
Push the lamp into the lamp holder.
7.
Press the lamp holder into the mounting until the
hooks lock into place.
8.
Re-mount the side walls.
9.
Push the chassis unit back into its recess, and re-
screw it to the kitchen appliance.
10.
Plug in the power plug for the dishwasher.
11.
Check whether the lamp lights when the dish-
washer door opens.
