Hose (7)

 and other accessories

in use are not blocked.

The filters are clean.

The dust bag is not full.

Should the above mentioned
checks not solve the problem,
please contact your nearest
Authorised Electrolux Service
Centre for advice.

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF

The motor is fitted with a thermal
cut-out switch which will automatically
switch your vacuum cleaner off if it
starts to overheat. If this does
happen the following should be
done.

• Switch the vacuum cleaner off at

the on/off switch and unplug the
mains supply cable.

• Now leave your vacuum cleaner

in a cool place for approximately
40 minutes to cool down.

• During this time check if the hose,

accessories and filters are
perhaps blocked as this could
have caused the machine to
overheat.

• Once your vacuum cleaner has

cooled down, it will start again. If
it does not restart, contact your
nearest Electrolux Service Center.

NOTE:

 Always operate the vacuum

otherwise reduced suction or motor
damage may result. Do not wash
the motor filter in a washing machine.
Do not use a hairdryer to dry the
motor filter.

8

The micro-exhaust filter needs
to be replaced with a new one
when it gets dirty.

9

Open the

air-outlet grille (13)

by pressing the grill latch and
pulling it out. See fig. 19.
