PSI 9000 WR 3U Slave Series
2.3.4 Connection to AC supply
•
Connection to an AC mains supply may only be carried out by qualified personnel!
•
Cable cross section must be suitable for the maximum input current of the device (see tables below)!
•
Before plugging in the input plug ensure that the device is switched off by its mains switch!
•
The PE conductor is imperative and must always be wired!
The equipment is delivered with a 5 pole mains plug. All models in this series require a 3-phase supply, which has
to be connected according to the labelling on the plug. Required for the mains connection are following phases:

2.3.4.1 Cross section
For the sizing of wiring
cross section,
the power intake of the device and the cable length are decisive. The table
below gives the maximum input current for each phase.

2.3.4.2 AC cable
The included connection plug can receive soldered cable ends or such with cable end sleeves of up to 6 mm². The
longer the connection cable, the higher the voltage loss due to the cable resistance. Therefore the mains cables
should be kept as short as possible or use bigger cross section.
