maintenance:

Activated charcoal odour filter (every 160 hours of
operation): all LEDs with red light, LEDs L2 and L3 blink

L1 turns on first, then L2 and L3 and after that, when the
buttons are released, the Leds L2 and L3 flash briefly to
indicate successful activation.
Disabling the LED for charcoal filter saturation: repeat the
operation above; first the LEDs L1, L2 and L3 turn on
simultaneously, then only L1, and after that, when the buttons
are released, the leds L1, L2 and L3 turn on again to indicate
successful disabling.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Clean using ONLY a cloth dampened with neutral liquid
detergent. DO NOT CLEAN WITH TOOLS OR
INSTRUMENTS. Do not use abrasive products. DO NOT USE
ALCOHOL!
Panel
Fig. 9-12-13
Maintenance of the panel
Disassembly:
a. pull the panel (FRONT SIDE) downwards energetically
b. unhook it from the back hinges.
Cleaning:
the suction panel must be cleaned as frequently as the grease
filter, use a dampened cloth with neutral liquid detergents.
Avoid using products containing abrasives. DO NOT USE
ALCOHOL!
Assembly:
The panel must be hooked in the back and fixed in the front
(with magnets).
Attention! always check that the panel is tightly fixed to its
place.
Grease filter
Fig. 9-12
Traps cooking grease particles.
The grease filter must be cleaned once a month using non
aggressive detergents, either by hand or in the dishwasher,
which must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle.
When washed in a dishwasher, the grease filter may discolor
slightly, but this does not affect its filtering capacity.
To remove the grease filter, pull the spring release handle.
Charcoal filter (filter version only)
It absorbs unpleasant odors caused by cooking.
Circular charcoal filter
Apply one on each side as cover to both the shield grids of the
motor impeller, then turn clockwise.
For the disassembly, turn counter-clockwise.
The activated charcoal filter can be one of these types:
• Washable activated charcoal filter.
• NON-washable activated charcoal filter.
Washable activated charcoal filter
Fig. 11
The charcoal filter can be washed once every two months (or
when the filter saturation indication system – if envisaged on
the model in possession – indicates this necessity) using hot
water and a suitable detergent, or in a dishwasher at 65°C (if
the dishwasher is used, select the full cycle function and leave
dishes out).
Eliminate excess water without damaging the filter, then
remove the mattress located inside the plastic frame and put it
in the oven for 10 minutes at 100° C to dry completely.
Replace the mattress every 3 years and when the cloth is
damaged.
NON-washable activated charcoal filter
Fig. 10
The saturation of the charcoal filter occurs after more or less
prolonged use, depending on the type of cooking and the
regularity of cleaning of the grease filter.
In any case it is necessary to replace the cartridge at least
every four months.
The charcoal filter may NOT be washed or regenerated.
Replacing lamps
The hood is equipped with a lighting system based on LED
technology.
The LEDs guarantee an optimum lighting, a duration up to 10
times longer than the traditional lamps and allow to save 90%
electrical energy.
For replacement, contact the technical service.
