entered energy saving mode. FUORIPISTA battery must be
charged or it must be connected to the supplied power
supply.
FUORIPISTA features a display with status info. Please
check paragraph 12_DISPLAY for a detailed explanation.

15_POWER INTERVAL

FUORIPISTA covers a wide power interval as a function of
speed: the faster you pedal the wider the power interval
is. There are rare and extreme cases in which the power
output is outside the interval, that is too high or too low.
In these instances FUORIPISTA delivers the maximum or
minimum power available and will revert back to adjust the
brake once the power output level is back within range.

16_GRADIENT

The max gradient you can simulate changes as a
function of speed and weight; the power you need to
face a slope adjusts as a function of the speed you ride
it in (faster - more power) and weight (heavier - more
power). FUORIPISTA continuously delivers max power
with no resistance adjustment if the required power is
above the max power level. FUORIPISTA employs a pad
braking system that exerts pressure on a glass flywheel;
the pad movement is managed by an electronically
managed engine. This technology realistically simulates
even the slightest gradient changes by taking the inertia
of a real outdoor ride into account and reflecting a gradual
resistance adjustment.

17_POWER METER

FUORIPISTA features an integrated power meter system.
This measures power output during workouts with extreme
accuracy.
Accuracy level is +/- 2,5%.

18_TRANSMISSION PROTOCOLS

FUORIPISTA employs two different transmission protocols
to interface with software / apps / devices.
Please check compatibility with one or more of these
protocols with the manufacturer of said devices you're
employing.

BLUETOOTH SMART

"Fitness Machine Service - Indoor Bike" Protocol This
protocol allows the software / app / device to receive
workout data and adjust FUORIPISTA resistance, ensuring
total interaction.
"Power Service" Protocol (Power). This protocol allows to
send power output data. This protocol does not interact
with the software / app / device.
In most cases smartphones and tablet terminals already

integrate Bluetooth Smart connectivity so they do not
need additional devices to be able to communicate with
FUORIPISTA.
Older devices may not be compatible. Please check
Bluetooth Smart compatiblity with the manufacturer.
Please note: Because of a protocol restriction, FUORIPISTA
only connects via Bluetooth Smart to one device at a time.

ANT +

"ANT+ FE-C" Protocol. This protocol allows the software /
app / device to receive workout data and adjust FUORIPISTA
resistance, ensuring total interaction.
"ANT+ Power" (Power) Protocol. This protocol enables
sending cyclist power output data. This protocol is more
common than the ANT+ FE-C but does not interact with
the app/software/data.
A Bluetooth connection is usually easier to setup as it's
already present in most devices. ANT+ may be necessary
in some cases though.
In order to employ the ANT+ connection with PC Windows
and Mac devices you need to use an ANT+ USB drive,
available for sale on the www.shopelite-it.com website.
Except for a few smartphones that already integrate ANT+
connectivity, to connect via the ANT+ protocol you must
use a USB drive and an OTG adapter cable.
Bluetooth Smart connectivity is recommended with iOS
devices.

19_HEART RATE MONITOR

FUORIPISTA does not receive data from a heart rate
monitor. The heart rate monitor value is usually received
directly from the device being used.
Compatibility with various types of heart rate monitor belts
depends on the device / software / app being used.
The Elite My E-Training app allows for the use of ANT+ and
Bluetooth Smart heart rate monitor belts.

20_ZERO OFFSET AND POWER METER

FUORIPISTA allows to conduct the Zero of the internal
system of the power meter.
Zero allows to compensate the system offsts in order to
always obtain accurate power output values. Use the My
E-Training software/app/device or operate the gear shift
