CONNECTING THE RESISTANCE UNIT
Connect the plug coming from the cadence
sensor to the resistance unit. Connect the
transformer to a wall adaptor and the jack to
the socket of the resistance unit. Fasten the 3
cables to the unit using the provided cable
clamps in order to prevent any accidental
damage of the connectors. See Illustration 31.
Make sure that the power unit works correctly
by checking the green led on the console lights
up or flashes. If the led is not on, the console-
resistance unit and/or the resistance unit-
mains connection has not been fitted correctly.
USING REALTOUR WITHOUT COMPUTER
RealTour can be used without connecting it to a PC.
When the console is not connected to the PC,
RealTour will operate independently. The green
led on the console will flash when operating
RealTour without connecting it to a PC.
The resistance will be at minimum level when
operating RealTour independently. Push the “+”
key on the console to increase the resistance
level and push the “-” key on the console to
decrease the resistance level. There are 9 resi-
stance levels in total.
After 20 seconds of inactivity the resistance will
automatically return to the minimum level.
USING REALTOUR WITH COMPUTER
INSTALLING THE REALTOUR PROGRAMME
Insert the RealTour DVD (RealTour Software -
Caprera La Maddalena) in the DVD-Rom drive.
Follow the instructions given by the installa-
tion software.
To accept the default parameters (recommen-
ded) just press the “RETURN” key on all the
installation programme windows.
The installation programme windows are
shown below.
Attention: the installation of the software can
require several minutes.
When the installation procedure has termina-
ted, the RealTour programme icon will appear
on the Windows desktop. Click twice on the
icon to start the programme.
