Exerciser User Interface
User Guide
BIST Tab
The BIST tab enables BIST specific testing modes. The user is provided selections to define the test type, recipient
(SOP, SOP’, SOP”) as well as test start and stop (via Hard Reset). Note that not all modes are supported by all USB
Power Delivery devices.
Checks Settings
Enable
Enables Checks to run (in the background).
UUT Source Cap
Indicates the current Source Capabilities and provides an Edit
button to change these settings.
UUT Sink Cap
Indicates the current Sink Capabilities and provides an Edit button
to change these settings.
Vendor ID
Vendor ID Input
Externally Powered

Checks
Results
The Check Results section lists several categories of tests. As test conditions are “seen” by the
Checks engine (the software running in the background looking for these conditions), the individual
checks will be assigned pass or fail indications.
The Checks engine has not seen a condition to test an item.
The Checks engine has seen a condition to test an item and the
item has passed.

The Checks engine has seen a condition to test an item and the
item has failed.
Reset
Resets the pass and fail indications that have been accumulated.
