After drying, do not use hairspray, mousse or gel.
•
Start at the highest setting of the supplied guide comb (12 mm) and gradually
reduce the setting of the hair length using the other guide combs supplied (9-
6-3 mm).
•
For best results, use the appliance against the direction of hair growth.
•
If hair starts to clog the guide comb, remove the guide comb from the appliance
(see par. “Removing the guide comb”) and clean away the hair (blow and/or brush
out).
USING THE APPLIANCE
Use of the cutting guide comb.
To insert the guide comb (fig.
A1
), follow the instructions below:
•
Check that the appliance is off.
•
Slide the guide comb onto the head until you hear it click into place (Fig.
C
).
•
Ensure that the guide comb is correctly inserted in the slots on either side.
•
Turn on the appliance as indicated in par. “TURNING THE APPLIANCE ON AND OFF.”
•
Cut the hair; for tips see par. “USEFUL TIPS FOR CUTTING”.
Turn off the appliance before changing or inserting any accessories.
Removing the guide comb
• Turn off the appliance.
• Push the guide comb so that it slides off the appliance (Fig.
C1
).
Using without the guide comb.
When using the appliance without the guide comb, the blade of the
head (2) will cut the hair very close to the skin.
The appliance can be used without the guide comb to cut hair very close to the skin
(1.0 mm) or to redefine the hairline of the neck and around the ears.
If the appliance has been used with the guide comb and is then to be used without it,
remove the comb as described in par. “Removing the guide comb”.
Instructions to adjust the cut.
Elmot 025 clipper has four adjustable lengths: 1.0 /1.3/1.6/1.9 mm.

When cutting close to the ears, you are advised to use
your hand to protect your ear against injury.
MAINTENANCE
GENERAL CLEANING
Always disconnect the power cord from the mains socket before cleaning.
Avoid all risk of electric shock by not cleaning the appliance
with water and do not immerse it in water.
Do not use abrasive solutions or concentrated detergents.
• Clean the exterior with a soft cloth or slightly damp cloth.
• After use, make sure that all parts are completely dry.
Removing the cutting head

Turn off the appliance and remove the power adaptor from the mains socket

Remove the guide comb in compliance with the instructions reported in “Using
without the guide comb.“
•
Keep the appliance with the switch facing upwards.
•
Press the centre part of the head
