Blade block cleaning
•
Remove the head

Using the supplied brush

– from the internal part of the appliance (fig.

– from the ends of the blade (fig.

– from between the fixed blade

Cutting head assembly
Position the adjustment ring height on 1.9 mm before hooking the
head onto the appliance.
•
Make sure that the cutting height adjustment ring is set on 1.9 mm; if not, turn the
ring to the correct position before assembling the cutting head on the appliance
(fig.
G
).
•
Place the special assembling hook into its compartment situated on the appliance.
•
Push the head downwards and click the unit into its correct position (fig.
G
).
Lubrication
To maintain perfect performance of the appliance over time, you are required to clean
the blade regularly (paragraph “Blade block cleaning”) and proceed with lubrication.
•
Remove the cutting head as indicated in the paragraph “Removing the cutting
head.”
•
Clean the blade block as indicated in the paragraph “Blade block cleaning”.
•
Apply two/three drops of lubricating oil

machines) in the gap between the fixed blade and the mobile blade (fig.

).
You are advised to lubricate the blade block:
– before and after every intensive-continuous use;
– twice a week for normal use;
– at least once a month when used occasionally.
Battery replacement

Turn off the appliance and remove the power adaptor from the mains socket

Push the relevant release lever upwards and extract the battery by lifting it
upwards.
•
Place the supplied supplementary battery into the relative compartment.
•
Press the supplementary battery downwards until it is completely inserted (CLICK!)
DISPOSAL
The product packaging is made of recyclable materials. Separate the parts
according to their type and dispose of them in accordance with applicable
laws on the environmental protection.
In accordance with the European Directive 2012/196/EC (WEEE), the unused
appliance must be disposed of appropriately at the end of its life cycle. This
concerns the recycling of useful parts of the appliance and allows a reduction
in the environmental impact. For more information, please contact your local
waste disposal facility or appliance retailer.
Disposing of the battery and power adapter.
•
Turn off the appliance.
•
Remove the battery from its compartment.
Do not dispose of the battery and/or power adapter with normal
domestic waste.
This appliance contains NI-MH (metal-hydride) rechargeable batteries.
The end user is responsible for disposing of the batteries at a special
waste collection centre.
The batteries and power adapters are collected free of charge at collection points set
up by your local council or by any battery retailer.
By doing this, you not only comply with the law, but also help protect our environment.
ATTENTION! Do not reconnect the appliance to the power supply once
the batteries have been removed.
