Datalogger HAMSTER-E EHT1
2.1.1 Temporary switching on the display in power save mode
If the display is switched off (power save mode): temporary switching on of the display
is possible by using the external Start/Stop Magnet (not included in delivery). Insert the
Start/Stop Magnet laterally to the datalogger, after approximately 4 seconds the display
will appear. 30 seconds after switching on, with the Start/Stop Magnet, the datalogger
goes automatically back to the power save mode. The Start/Stop Magnet may be removed
immediately or later.
Temporary displaying of actual readings with the Start/Stop Magnet
2.1.2 Alarm indication
For using the alarm function set the lower and upper limit values (different values per
channel are possible) first. If the measured values are inside of these limits, the alarm is
not active. If the measured values are outside of these limits, the alarm is active and it is
indicated on the display. If you program "memory alarm mode", the alarm indication is self
sustaining and will stay on till you reset it by the PC.
Active alarms are indicated (if the display is on), by blinking of the
value on the display and an arrow symbol appears at the measuring
channel.
Notice: at temperatures below -5 °C the blinking of the alarm
indication may be limited. But the indication of the arrow at the
measuring channel works always proper.
2.1.3 Status indications
If the memory is full in the Start-Stop mode, the recording will be
stopped and in the message MEMO FULL is displayed. This
message is going to be displayed even the datlogger is in the power
save made.
The indication INIT may appear after e.g. replacing a totally
discharged battery. It will stay on for about 12 seconds (after the
display test).
