ELECTRICAL SAFETY WARNINGS 

•  When removing the freezer’s plug from an outlet, do not pull it out by the power cable.  

  Grip the plug firmly and pull this.

•  Be careful not to damage the power cable. Do not use the freezer if the power cable is  

  damaged or the plug is worn. 

•  A worn or damaged power cable must be replaced by an authorised workshop. 

•  Connect the freezer to an earthed power outlet that has a minimum 10 A rating (fuse  

  protection). The power outlet must not be shared with other electrical appliances.

•  The plug must be fully inserted in the outlet. There is otherwise a risk of fire. Ensure that the  

  power outlet is correctly earthed.

•  The freezer is designed for use at 220 – 240 V AC, 50 Hz. Voltage fluctuations of more  

  than 10% from 220 – 240 V will give rise to faults or damage. 

•  As with all other electrical appliances, do not pull out the freezer’s plug if there is a leak of  

  a flammable gas. A spark could cause a fire here. Turn off the gas tap/valve and open  

  doors and windows.

•  To ensure safety, it is not recommended that other electrical appliances are placed on top of  

  the freezer.

USER SAFETY WARNINGS

•  Dismantling and/or repair of the freezer by an authorised person is not forbidden.  

  Damaging the refrigerant pipes is forbidden. The freezer may be repaired and maintained  

  by authorised technicians only.

•  To avoid danger, a damaged power cable must be replaced by the manufacturer,  

  an authorised workshop or similar.

WARNING! This appliance is not designed for use by unsupervised children.
