ENTRANCE PANEL FOR VIDEO DOOR ENTRY SYSTEMS
Before installing equipment, choose location for camera entrance panel:
the camera shouid be protected from direct light (sun, car headlights, etc.)
as this may affect the quality of the picture, and may damage the camera.
This camera is equipped with infrared Leds allowing perfect picture at one
metre distance. It is advisable to protect panel with some form of weath-
erproof shelter.

IDENTIDFICATION CODE.
If more cameras/entrance panels are installed on the building it is neces-
sary to identify the cameras with a different code. The identification code is
assigned by inserting the jumpers in the contacts as shown on the figure.

CAMERA TERMINALS (TYPE 68TU, 68TC)
CL, M) Connection for relay type 0170/101 for additional floodlight.
It is activated for the time the camera is on.
CA, M) Connection for additional lock push-button.
PA, M) Connection for “open door” sensor. The sensor must be a nor-
mally open contact which closes when the door is open.
B1, B2) BUS line
S-, S+) Output for electric lock supply voltage (12V

).
The panel supplies a current peak IT> 1A for 10 mS, followed by a hold
current I
M
= 200mA for the entire duration of the lock control.

CAMERA ADJUSTMENTS (ART. 68TC, 68TU)
On the camera rear side find the following adjustments:
DESCRIPTION
Main power supply unit for 2-Wire Videokit for single-family and two-family
video door entry systems, in B/W or colour (Videokit series 68I… inter-
communicating with Petrarca series monitor and 682 series Videokit... with
Giotto series monitor).
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Class V0 technopolymer housing on 8 module DIN rail.
- Power supply 110-240Vac 50-60Hz 60W
- Output voltage 28 Vdc
- Current supplied:
0.8A continuous s 0.4A intermittent service 110-117 Vac
0.8A continuous s 0.5A intermittent service 125 Vac
0.8A continuous s 0.8A intermittent service 230-240 Vac
- Protection inside primary winding with fuse F 3.15 AL 250V
- The power supply unit has two types of protection, indicated as fol-
lows.
A yellow LED indicates:
- if lit steadily, it indicates the presence of power at the output.
- if flashing, the probable presence of a short-circuit on the twisted pair
- if off, it is possible there is a short-circuit on the output or near to the
power supply unit
A Red LED indicates: a prolonged overload (current higher than the
continuous current for an excessive period of time).
If the Red LED is on, to restore operation it is necessary to unplug the
load or disconnect the power supply unit from the mains for at least 60
seconds.
- Protection inside secondary winding against short circuits and overload
via PTC.
- Operating temperature 0°C +45°C
- Maximum overall dimensions 140x115x65 mm.
INSTALLATION
The power supply can be wall-mounted using the screws and plugs sup-
plied, or in cabinets fitted with DIN rails (occupying a space of 8 modules).
Make installation of a bipolar switch on the power mains.
Operating times
The monitor, camera, lock and auxiliary services must operate according to
the following intermittent cycles.

N.B.:
The power supply unit Art. 692K replaces article 6922 Part Number
B exclusively for installation of the 2-Wire Videokit for single-family and
two-family video door entry systems, in B/W or colour (Videokit series 68I...
intercommunicating with Petrarca series monitor and 682 series Videokit...
with Giotto series monitor).
The power supply unit Art. 692K must not be used in expandable Elvox
Two-Wire installations. The power supply Art. 6922 Part Number B should
instead be used.

- It is possible to reverse the polarity of the two connecting wires between
power supply unit and monitor and between power supply unit and
entrance panel.
- The cable recommended for connecting the kit is type 732H (2x1mm²)
and/or 732I ( 2x1mm²). If the cable used is not one of those indicated
above, the following guarantees do NOT apply.
- The installation is guaranteed up to a maximum distance of 150 metres.
Distance intended as the straight-line distance between the 2 devices
furthest apart (e.g. the furthest entrance panel and the furthest monitor).
The total length of extended cable must not exceed 500 metres. These
maximum distances apply to both B/W and colour installations.
- Electric locks connected to the entrance panels must have a maximum
input current of 1 A at a voltage of 12 Vdc.
- Electrical disturbances or discharges may affect the operation of the
devices. Therefore we recommend laying the cables inside separate
tubes.
