In the controller list, all controllers are listed by name, if the
MIDI standard provides a certain function for that controller
number. All controllers between 1 and 120 are accessible. Also
accessible: Some so-called “NRPN“ messages (Non Regis-
tered Parameter Numbers), with functions for certain synthe-
sizers as described by their name.
Controller Numbers of the Mixer Controls
These functions are always available:
Before a sound module can react to the events in the GM
Mixer, it must be configured to receive the relevant controllers
(see “Ctrl. no.” column). For details refer to the sound
module’s manual.
Sometimes a module’s response to controllers can be disabled
globally (e.g. MIDI-Menu, “Receive Control Change”. Switch
this to “Enable”).
These functions can be controlled in GS and XG synthesizers:
