12.9 TRANSMISSION
Grease the connection shank of the rigid tube (Fig. 21.D) with molybdenum disulphide grease every
30 operating hours.
12.10 CARBURETTOR
Before adjusting the carburettor, clean the air filter (Fig. 20.B) and warm up the engine. The engine
has been designed and built in accordance with the application of Regulations (EU) 2016/1628.
The idle speed screw (Fig. 17.T) is set so that there is a good safety margin between the idle speed
and the clutch engagement speed.
WARNING
• The disc should not turn when the engine is running at idle speed (3000 rpm). We
recommend that you have all fuel adjustments carried out by your dealer or authorised
workshop.
• When using the machine at an altitude of more than 1000 m a.s.l. it is necessary to have the
carburation checked by an authorised service centre.
12.11 SILENCER
DANGER
• Use of an improperly maintained silencer increases the risk of fire and hearing loss.
If the silencer is damaged, it must be replaced. If the silencer is frequently clogged, it may be a sign
that the performance of the catalytic converter is limited.
12.12 EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
It is advisable to carry out a general inspection at the end of the season for heavy use and every two
years for normal use, to be carried out by a specialised technician from the service network.
WARNING
• All maintenance work not indicated in this manual must be carried out by an authorised
workshop. In order to ensure constant and smooth operation of the machine, remember
that any replacement parts must be replaced exclusively with ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS.
• Unauthorised modifications and/or the use of non-original spare parts may result in serious
or fatal injury to the operator or third parties and will immediately invalidate the warranty.
