that you observe the following warnings.
SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING - Before each use, check the safety devices
located on the machine.
1 In addition to the instructions of this manual, all generally
applicable safety and accident prevention standards must be
observed.
2. Th
e symbols, warnings and safety descriptions provide
important instructions for safe operation: pay attention to
them in order to ensure your safety.
3. Th

18.
4. Th

6. It is prohibited to remain in the hazard zone, especially in
the vicinity of the discharge port.
7. Th
e machine must only be positioned and used on stable
surfaces free from obstacles (danger of tipping).
8. To favour the loading of short material, use auxiliary
equipment in the form of circular pieces of wood of suffi
cient
length.
9. Before opening the stack or moving away from the machine,
switch off the engine and close the fuel cock.
10. Before starting the machine, carefully read the engine
manufacturer’s instruction manual.
11. Do not operate the machine in enclosed areas.
12. Aft er start-up, check that the control lever functions correctly
and familiarise yourself with its operation.
13. Exercise caution when adding fuel: extreme fi re hazard.
Never refuel in the vicinity of naked fl ames, sparks or while

this point. Stay clear of the machine until it has come to a
complete halt.
WARNING - Th
e machine may only be operated in
accordance with the above instructions, using the
supplied safety devices.
FIELD OF APPLICATION
Th
e machine is designed to crush garden waste including tree
and bush cuttings, dead fl owers etc. For branches thicker than
40 mm in diameter, use the side infeed opening. Th
e maximum
diameter of branch which the machine can process is 60 mm.
Th
anks to the shredding process, the chopped waste material
transforms into compost much more quickly than it would in
its natural state.
Th
e consistency of the shredded material is determined by
an adjustable screen which, in the event of overload, opens
automatically and expels the excess material.
CAUTION -If its consistency is not too fi ne, the waste
material favours the essential supply of oxygen.
