Chapter 5: Use
Sect.2 Blade movement and machine groundspeed clutch lever
At this stage if you lower the
groundspeed clutch lever (Fig. 5.5) the
transmission belt will extend gripping
on the engine pulley, this lever allows
your machine to move forwards. If the
groundspeed clutch lever is released
the flail mower will stop.
The blade rotor engagement clutch
lever activates the blade holder rotor.
It is necessary to use two hands to
unhook the lever that is locked by a
safety catch (Fig. 5.8).
This catch, designed for your safety,
prevents the operator from being able
to engage the blade rotor while the flail
mower is moving, but only when the
machine is stationary.

CAUTION:
In case of difficulty release
this lever and your machine will stop
immediately.
CAUTION :
When the blade rotor is working,
please always make sure that
nobody is near the blade rotor
(Fig. 5.9). NEVER ATTEMPT TO
UNDERTAKE A REGISTRATION
WITH THE ENGINE GOING.
