About the CX700
Front Panel
The front panel contains two CX700 status lights. These lights are
visible with the front bezel installed or removed.

The
CX700 status lights are described in Chapter 3.
Front Bezel
The front bezel has a keylock and two latch release buttons. Pressing
the latch release buttons releases the bezel from the enclosure.
The front bezel inhibits electromagnetic interference (EMI). You can take off
the bezel to remove and install fan modules, but EMI compliance requires a
properly installed front bezel.

Midplane
The midplane distributes power and signals to all the enclosure
components. The power supplies, fan modules, and SPs plug directly
into midplane connectors.
