To delete a user:
1. From the Users pane, select a user or
CTRL
+
click
to select multiple users.
2. On the sidebar under Delete User, click
Delete
.
3. Click
Delete
again to confirm.
NOTE:
You cannot delete all administrator accounts.
Login and Logout
The Login option allows an administrator to log a user into a specific receiver. The user must have
permissions to be able to access the receiver. The Logout user option allows an administrator to log
a user out of a receiver. You can select multiple users to be logged out, but you can only log in one
user at a time.
To log a user into a receiver:
1. From the Users tab, select a user and click
Login
on the sidebar.
2. Select a receiver from the list of available receivers and click
Login
.
To log out a user:
1. From the Users tab, select one or more users and click
Logout
on the sidebar.
2. Click
Logout User
to confirm.
Users – Attributes tab
The user attributes tab is used for editing the user account information including, username,
password and the account status. The username is the name used for logins. It must consist of a
combination of up to 20 letters and numbers, must be unique and is case-sensitive.
To change the password on a user account, enable Change Password and enter the new
password twice. The password may be blank if Allow Blank Password is enabled. A blank password
must be set from the OBWI (it cannot be set to blank from the OSD).
The account status allows the administrator to enable or disable the user account . The user will
only be able to login if the account is enabled.
NOTE:
The full name is not a required field.
If there is a conflict in options between the different selected users, the option will be blank and that
option will not be affected on a save.
